Jokes aside, Mbappe is slated for a contract renewal in June 2022. While it seems more than likely that he will get an extension at PSG as the organization looks to see the France international commit to his long-term future at the Ligue 1 club, he is still in a former position with a club outside France in January. -Contract agreement is free to sign. Most importantly, Mbappe will probably have the option of joining any club in the world, given that there is so much demand for him and that Spurs is one club he is less likely to join. They are currently fifth in the Premier League without Champions League football and are at serious risk of not qualifying for next year’s Premier Cup competition. However, of late there has been intense transfer speculation linking the 2018 World Cup winner with Real Madrid. He has also expressed his desire to play for Los Blancos in the past. Mbappe finished ninth in the Ballon d’Or rankings, with new teammate Lionel Messi taking the top spot after Argentina’s Copa America victory.
