How To Make Aalam Pachadi – South Indian Style Ginger Chutney:

For this particular recipe, we need ginger, garlic, tamarind, urad dal, chana dal, salt, cumin, coriander, fenugreek, jaggery, red chillies, mustard seeds, curry leaves and some oil.

First cook ginger in some Oil And dry roast dal, cumin, coriander, fenugreek and red chillies. Then grind all the things in a mixer grinder with tamarind, jaggery and salt. Adjust the water to get a smooth and silky paste. Now, prepare a tempering with garlic, red chillies, mustard seeds and curry leaves and add in the paste – and a bowl of delicious pachadi is ready to be relished.
