The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday launched its theme song for the upcoming civic polls here.
The song ‘MCD Mein Bhi Kejriwal’ (MCD also Kejriwal) is sung by party’s Timarpur MLA Dilip Pandey.
The 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) goes to polls on December 4, while the results will be declared on December 7.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the slogan of ‘MCD Mein Kejriwal’ is echoing everywhere and it is reflected in the song.
“People are saying that we gave Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a chance and he ensured that we get good government schools, hospitals, free bus rides for women in DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) buses and the government is working honestly Is.
He said, ‘BJP was given a chance to run the MCD and they gave mountains of garbage and stray animals roaming the streets. Sisodia said that what is the use of giving BJP a chance in MCD for 15 years?
The BJP also unveiled its theme song for the high-stakes MCD polls on Tuesday.
