New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh walked out of the all-party meeting on Sunday and alleged that the government never allows anyone to speak during the meeting.

“They (government) do not allow any member to speak during the all-party meeting. I raised other issues in this session of Parliament including bringing a law on MSP guarantee and expanding the jurisdiction of the Border Security Force. They do not let us speak in all-party meeting and Parliament,” Singh said. “The government is busy with Jinnah and other issues, ignoring the main issues related to farmers and common man,” he said.

Ahead of the winter session of Parliament, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had called an all-party meeting on Sunday.

Leaders of various political parties including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury reached Parliament for the all-party meeting.

The BJP-led government has a heavy agenda for the winter session with legislative work including 26 new bills.
