AAP protest outside CBI office demanding probe into BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’

AAP staged a sit-in outside the CBI headquarters in Delhi, demanding a probe against the alleged ‘Operation Lotus’ of the BJP.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday staged a sit-in outside the CBI headquarters in Delhi, demanding a probe against the alleged ‘Operation Lotus’ of the BJP. The AAP delegation was stopped from crossing the barricades outside the CBI headquarters, following which they sat on a dharna outside the office.

The AAP accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to topple governments in several states as part of its ‘Operation Lotus’.

AAP MPs Sanjay Singh, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Atishi are also included in the party leaders sitting on the dharna.

Earlier, AAP leader Atishi had tweeted that the party was demanding a probe into the Rs 6,300 crore allegedly spent by the BJP on ‘Operation Lotus’.

“The delegation of AAP MLAs is going to CBI Headquarters to file a complaint against ‘Operation Lotus’. We are demanding a probe into the sources of Rs 6300 crore spent by BJP on ‘Operation Lotus’ across the country.
