Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the Aam Aadmi Party’s entry into politics can be called “successful” as children from economically weaker backgrounds are getting better education than those studying in private schools under the party’s rule. Are. He was speaking after inaugurating the Dr BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence at Janakpuri in west Delhi.

Praising the infrastructure provided by these Special Schools of Excellence (SOSE), Kejriwal said that those studying in these schools were getting better education than he or his children were getting.

“The transformation of government schools is becoming a benchmark for the nation. This school in Janakpuri will focus on engineering, medicine, humanities and 21st century skills like IT and artificial intelligence. Those interested in these fields can take admission in this school Huh.” He said. Schools of Specialized Excellence provide specialized education in five areas which include Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts, High End 21st Century Skills and Armed Forces Preparatory Schools.

The Chief Minister said that it is difficult to get admission in these schools and even IITs and medical colleges do not receive as many applications as these schools.

“There was a time when the condition of government schools was poor. There were no teachers and parents were reluctant to send their children to such institutions,” he said.

“But today I can challenge that even private schools are not as brilliant as government schools,” he said.

Recalling his time as a student, Kejriwal said that he studied in one of the best private schools in Hisar, Haryana. “My school is nothing in front of this (special) school. My children have studied in Delhi Public School (DPS) Noida and I can say that this government school is better. Our government provides education to children from economically weak families. giving better education to my children. What have my children and I got. So our entry into politics is successful,” he said.
