About Bread Kalakand Recipe: How To Make This Traditional Dessert In Just 5 Minutes

Another such popular desi sweet is Kalakand. Soft, creamy and milky – the fondant melts in the mouth in no time. The best part is that Kalakand is easily available in almost every part of India with some basic differences in ingredients. You can easily make it at home also. You heard us Kalakand consists of few basic ingredients and can be made at home without any hassles.

A quintessential fondant includes condensed milk, chenna (ricotta cheese) and sugar. You can also add some more nuts and spices to enhance the taste. All you need is time and patience to set the dessert. What if we say we’ve found a recipe that eliminates an even longer (of preparation) time?! You heard us We recently came up with a kalakand recipe which takes just five minutes to prepare. It is called bread fondant. Quick Dessert Recipe: How to Make Bread Fondant in 5 Minutes:

To make this recipe, we need milk, sugar, cardamom, saffron, almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts and bread.

First of all, boil the milk and bring it to one third of the quantity. Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix it. Switch off the flame, add saffron and chopped dry fruits and mix. Let it cool down.

Take bread and cut off the edges. Now take a tray and make a base by putting rabdi in it, then put bread evenly in it. Add some rabri and then bread slices and make layers.

Garnish with dry fruits and let it set in the fridge for a maximum of 30 minutes. After this, cut the Kalakand into small pieces and serve.

The only hard part is preparing the rabri with patience. However, that too won’t take more than 5 minutes.
