Actor Bala and his wife Kokila have frequently been the subject of media attention since their marriage. Bala, who had two previous marriages in Kerala, later married Kokila, who is also a relative. Kokila, a young woman of Tamil heritage, has drawn attention for her modest and reserved nature from the very beginning. After singer Amrutha Suresh, Kokila is reportedly the only person to have legally married Bala.
Recently, a photograph of Bala and Kokila at the registry office reignited public interest. The image, which shows Bala signing the marriage register shortly after performing the wedding rituals with Kokila, quickly went viral. A video of their visit to the Edappally Sub-Registrar Office also surfaced online, featuring the caption, “Congratulations Kokila.”
Bala married Kokila last year, describing the union as final. The marriage followed claims that Kokila had received Rs 250 crore from her father. Bala has also mentioned that Kokila hails from a wealthy family in Tamil Nadu.
Kokila’s father is an influential political figure in Tamil Nadu; however, Bala has only introduced his mother-in-law publicly, not his father-in-law. Since Kokila began living in Vaikom, her mother has also been present at the residence shared by the couple.
Bala had previously expressed hopes that if they have a child together, the child would inherit his property. Meanwhile, speculation has arisen over whether Kokila is expecting, though Bala has not confirmed this. Recently, Bala and Kokila celebrated Kokila’s birthday with a feast for 3,000 people at the Tenkasi temple. A few months ago, they launched a YouTube channel together, showcasing recipes from Kokila’s cooking.
