Actor Vijay has filed a civil suit in a city court seeking restraining 11 people, including his parents, from holding any meetings and activities using his name.
In the civil suit, he also declared that the deed of association is null and void and sought a stay on the conduct of any meetings and activities with the use of his name. He also sought an interim stay against the 11 defendants, including their parents. Sources said office-bearers of his fan club were also cited as respondents.
The matter is likely to come up for hearing on September 27.
