AGEL on Monday became one of the most valuable entities after being included in the list of 10 such companies.

AGEL had entered the special club of companies as its market valuation crossed Rs 4.22 lakh crore, supported by a sharp rally in its share price.

The company commanded a market valuation of Rs 4,22,526.28 crore to occupy the tenth spot in the top-10 list of most valuable companies.

The company had entered the top-10 list, leaving behind Bharti Airtel. Bharti Airtel is valued at Rs 4,16,240.75 crore.

Other most valuable companies in the top-10 are Reliance Industries, TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance and mortgage lender HDFC.
