Admission in Delhi University (DU): These colleges have released the third cut-off list

Some colleges of Delhi University released the third cut off list on Saturday. The marks required for admission to undergraduate courses has been reduced by 0.25% to 1.5%.

In Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, for BSc (Hons) Computer Science, the required cut-off is expected to be lower by 1.5%.

The cut-off for the course in the first list was pegged at 100 percent but no applications were received for the course in the first list. The cut-off is 98.5% in the second list and 97% in the third list.

After the first list the syllabus for admission in SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories was closed.

The cut-off for BSc (Hons) Botany and BSc (Hons) Chemistry is 93.33% and 96.33%. Meanwhile, female students are eligible for 1% relaxation in cut off for all courses.

Third Cut-Off List Aryabhatta College also released its third cut-off list, registering a drop of 0.25 to 1.5 per cent.

The college had the highest cut-off for BA (Hons) Psychology at 98.5 per cent among all courses in the first list, which came down to 98.25 per cent in the second list.

The cut-off for BA (Hons) Hindi saw a drop of one per cent to 84 per cent.

The cut-off for BA (Hons) English has come down from 95.5 per cent to 94.75 per cent, while the cut-off for BCom (Hons) in the third list has come down from 97.5 per cent to 97 per cent.

The courses that were discontinued after the first list were BA (Hons) Political Science, B.Com program and BA program combining History and Political Science.

However, the B.Com program has reopened in the third list at a cut-off of 96.75 per cent, which is 0.25 per cent lower than the first list.

The courses that have been filled for the unreserved category after the second list are BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) History, BSc (Hons) Mathematics and B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science.

The cut-off for Hindi (Hons) in the third list of Jesus and Mary College (JMC) has been pegged at 64 per cent, which is four per cent lower than the second list.

Other courses open at JMC are BVOC Retail Management and IT and BVOC Healthcare Management. The college has filled the seats in other courses.

In the College of Vocational Studies, admissions were closed for Economics (Hons), History (Hons), B.Com (Hons), Hindi (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science in the first list.

Only BA (Hons) English is open with the college seeking 96-96.25 percentile for admission. The cut-off in the second list for English (Hons) was 96.25 per cent, while the college had asked for less than 96.25 per cent in the third list.

More than 48,000 students have entered the university, which has 70,000 undergraduate seats.
