Afghanistan: UN provides $32 million cash aid to Afghanistan – Times of India

Kabul : United Nations Provided $32 million in cash humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan was given to joe on thursday Afghanistan International Bank (AIB), local media reported.
The Central Bank of Afghanistan—the Afghanistan Bank—said that UN aid to Afghanistan was continuing and they had received $32 million in cash, Khama Press Reported.

The amount is part of a process based on which the United Nations provides $20 million per week to Afghanistan until March 2022.
Taliban Kabul was captured on 15 August and after that the country has been battered by the deepening economic, humanitarian and security crisis.
The combination of suspension of foreign aid, confiscation of Afghan government assets and international sanctions on the Taliban has plunged the country, already suffering from high poverty levels, into absolute economic crisis.
The international community, from governments to non-governmental organizations, has been providing various aids to the Afghan people.
