Afghanistan have won the toss and captain Mohammad Nabi has elected to bat first against Scotland in Sharjah here. With the focus on skipper Mohammad Nabi, the Afghans will be aiming to build on their fine form. The 36-year-old was in good form in his team’s warm-up match against West Indies. In the game, he bowled 22 dot balls out of 24 and conceded only two singles. The all-rounder also took three wickets. Meanwhile, Scotland advanced through the qualification stage and finished on top of Group B ahead of Bangladesh. Scotland will be heavily dependent on Josh Davey for the wicket.
