Afraid of Congress wave, BJP is getting Modi to campaign: Siddaramaiah

Reiterating his earlier decision to contest from Kolar assembly constituency if the high command allowed him to do so, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah on Monday said since the wave was in favor of the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party was not in power. Will come Even if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah visit Karnataka hundred times.

“The BJP is scared of the pro-Congress wave in the state and that is why they are bringing Mr. Modi to the state every week. BJP’s dream is that Modi ji will give them power. Even if Mr. Modi and Mr. Shah come hundred times to the state for campaigning, the Congress will come to power,” he said during the Prajadvani Sammelan of the Congress in Kolar on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, KPCC President DK Shivakumar said that there is no difference of opinion in the party and it is controlled. “The party is bigger than any individual. I am sure the voters of Kolar will support the Congress.”
