When the House met on January 6 and January 24 after the session was adjourned amid heated exchanges between AAP and BJP corporators, the mayor’s election could not be held. Party officials said that AAP’s mayoral candidate Shelly Oberoi approached the Supreme Court on Thursday demanding time-bound election of mayor.
