Aishwarya Rai Wedding Anniversary: On Sunday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to Instagram to share a heartwarming family photo featuring her husband Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, to celebrate her 18th wedding anniversary. The trio is seen posing closely together, radiating warmth and love. Aishwarya looks stunning with her signature red lipstick and sleek hair, while Abhishek sports a classic white shirt and bold red glasses, adding a pop of personality. Aaradhya stands between them, smiling sweetly, making it a perfect family moment.
Fans flooded the comments section, calling them an “evergreen couple” and praising how “beautiful and happy” they looked together. The post quickly garnered thousands of likes, including one from Priyanka Chopra, with fans celebrating their bond. Abhishek, however, neither reacted to nor shared the photo on his social media handle.
Interestingly, this anniversary post comes amid swirling rumours about trouble in paradise for the couple. Rumour mills had been abuzz over the past few months, especially since Aishwarya was not seen accompanying Abhishek on a few family outings and vacations. However, this affectionate photo shared by Aishwarya seems to have put all speculation to rest, with many seeing it as a subtle but strong statement shutting down the gossip.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan wedding
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot on April 20, 2007, but their wedding wasn’t exactly a grand affair. In fact, it was a rather intimate ceremony with many of the Bachchan family’s close friends left off the guest list.
Abhishek Bachchan had earlier shared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan that his family wanted to keep the wedding private due to his grandmother’s illness. He had said, “Very honestly, people are forgetting a very, very major reason why our family wanted to keep it very intimate. There was an ailing grandmother at the hospital and my father said that ‘you know, we do not feel good about going out there and having a big celebration.’
