Ajith Kumar is finally returning to the big screen after two and a half years with Valimai, and looks like the actor is preparing to set the box office on fire. With advance bookings already open and housefull signs hanging, Valimai is headed for an impressive opening day collection. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala, while talking to News18, thinks that Valimai may debut with a huge box office collection of Rs 30 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.

The Supreme Court has reportedly suggested that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his team change the title of their upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The suggestion comes amid several cases pending in the court seeking a stay on the film’s release. Gangubai Kathiawadi stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role and is slated to release this Friday, February 25.

The trailer of Amitabh Bachchan’s much awaited film Jhund has finally been released. Directed by Sairat director Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, the film brings to the screen the story of Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse. In the biopic, Amitabh plays a football coach who is adamant in the hopes of turning together a group of notorious, underprivileged children from difficult backgrounds and giving them a new motive to survive and transform their lives. Their Faith – Despite being involved in gang wars and piracy, the group is not bad at heart.

Deepika Padukone arrived at the premiere of Gangubai Kathiawadi on Wednesday. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role and is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This is Bhansali’s first film with Alia. Although Deepika was seen in her car, she was seen making her way to the premiere dressed in a white ensemble. The actress looked at the cameras and shook hands at them before leaving for the premiere.
