Akasa Air is all set to start its commercial bookings from the first week of July. Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dubey said that the company will get the first aircraft on June 21. Akasa Air aims to start commercial operations in India by the end of July. Of the 72 aircraft it ordered, 18 will be available by March 2023, while the remaining 54 will be available over the next four years. Akasa Air plans to connect metro cities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities with affordable fares.
