Ranbir Kapoor was spotted by paparazzi on Friday soon after the trailer of Alia’s upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi was released. However, when Ranbir was asked about his thoughts about the trailer, he grabbed everyone’s attention. The actor called it ‘fabulous’ and also recreated Alia’s iconic pose from the film.
While Ranbir impressed people and fans with his reaction, Alia Bhatt too is completely shocked by his reaction. Soon after, she took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of her recreating Ranbir along with a picture of herself from the trailer. While showering love on Ranbir, Alia called him the ‘best boyfriend ever’.
Earlier, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor had reacted to the trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi. She shared the trailer on her Instagram stories and called it ‘excellent’. Other actors including Katrina Kaif, Gauahar Khan, and Deepika Padukone also appreciated the trailer.
Gangubai Kathiawadi marks Alia Bhatt’s first partnership with legendary director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film revolves around the life of Gangubai Kothewali, a young girl who was sold into prostitution by her boyfriend Ramnik Lal, adapted from a chapter in Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The trailer released on Friday, February 4 presented Alia in her never-seen-before avatar. The trailer also featured Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role of Karim Lala – who doesn’t approve of brothels. The film also stars Seema Pahwa and Jim Sarbh among other stars. The trailer has surely got the fans excited who are now eagerly waiting for the mega film. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on February 25 and will clash with Ajith Kumar’s Valimai at the box office.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor, he will next be seen in Brahmastra opposite Alia. Apart from this, he also has Shamshera and Animal in his pipeline.
