Alia Bhatt mentioned on several occasions how Karan Johar He has played an important role in his life both personally and professionally. As the filmmaker turned 50, the actress shared about her equation with him along with a few pictures. She called him a father, friend and mentor. The first picture is of their wedding ceremony Ranbir KapoorWhere Karan is seen kissing on Alia’s cheek. The second is from their reception and both are seen engrossed in some conversation. And the third one is from the sets of his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Alia is seen rehearsing a scene under Karan’s direction.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt has a diverse list of projects in her kitty. Until recently, she was shooting for Rocky and Rani’s love story Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. Now, she has left for an undisclosed location to shoot for her Hollywood debut project ‘Heart of Stone’. The actress will star in Hollywood alongside “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot and “Belfast” star Jamie Dornan to name a few.
She also has Ayan Mukerji’s mega-project Brahmastra, in which the actress stars alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor, as well as another Bollywood project, Zee Le Zara. Priyanka Chopra And Katrina Kaif, The latter will be directed by Farhan Akhtar.
Alia is also excited about her debut production with Darlings. The much-awaited multi-starrer film ‘Darlings’ starring actress Shefali Shah opposite Vijay Varma is all set to release on Netflix. This movie Jasmeet K. is directed by Reen and brings together renowned composer and director Vishal Bhardwaj and renowned lyricist Gulzar.
