He said his aim was to prevent Sidhu from becoming chief minister at the cost of his career, which included “any sacrifice to save the country from such a dangerous man”.

On allegations of being inaccessible when he was chief minister, Amarinder said he has been elected seven times to the assembly and twice to the parliament.
“Something must be right with me,” he said, adding that the Congress leadership had clearly decided to make a change (in Punjab) and were trying to make a case.
