Amazon announces Alexa users will no longer enjoy email access

Amazon has announced that Alexa users will no longer have email access starting next week. Users will no longer be able to link their Gmail or Microsoft accounts – no mention of other email service providers – and any linked accounts will be automatically unlinked as well. Amazon mentions that users will no longer be able to browse or manage email once the functionality is removed. Amazon has also disabled email package tracking from retailers other than Amazon, but users can still track their Amazon deliveries via Alexa.
