Around 49 per cent of the candidates preferred to study in the US and 55 per cent chose MBA as their preferred management course, according to a survey conducted by ForeignAdmits. As per the survey, while most of the candidates prefer to pursue MBA from USA, about 22 per cent are willing to go to Canada for studies. The study also revealed that only 17 per cent choose to study in the UK and 12 per cent choose other countries.

The study was based on a survey conducted for around 1500 Indian candidates who are planning to study abroad. These candidates have evaluated and analyzed various options before participating in the voting. “These analytical data provide an insight to the candidates who are planning to study abroad and will help them to analyze the best options based on the current trends,” the study claimed.

Speaking on the poll results, Ashwini Jain, Co-Founder and CEO, ForeignAdmits said, “The recent trends in the industry are in line with the results of the elections. Students and aspirants today prefer to study in an environment that provides maximum exposure and opens up new avenues of growth for them. Hence, America has always been the preferred destination for study after Canada. Students also prefer to study in Canada due to the presence of a huge Indian community in the region which provides them with a holistic learning and development environment with a sense of security. While MBA and MIM are the preferred courses, students are keen to explore new options for study in the fields of arts and sociology.

In another survey conducted by ForeignAdmits to get more details on the research study, it was found that about 55 percent of the participants chose MBA as their preferred management program while studying abroad and the remaining 45 percent chose their preferred management program. Selected MIM as the program. , “At present, MBA is the preferred program, but soon the MIM program will overtake MBA,” said Ashwini Jain.
