A video featuring Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan performing a duet from the shoot of Ami Je Tomar 3.0 has taken the internet by storm. This new rendition is part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, reimagining the classic track that originally appeared in the 2007 film, where Vidya Balan played the character of Manjulika. The latest version features a thrilling face-off between Vidya and Madhuri. While the updated audio track dropped on Wednesday, the much-anticipated video is set for release on Friday, October 25.
Fans were delighted to see Madhuri Dixit make an appearance in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trailer, especially with a sneak peek of her confrontation with Vidya Balan in Ami Je Tomar 3.0. The clip from their shoot has quickly gained popularity online.
The unveiling of Aami Je Tomar 3.0 is set to take place at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai, promising to bring a fresh yet familiar charm to the beloved song. Pritam has composed the track, with Shreya Ghoshal lending her voice to this rendition.
Reflecting on her return to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Vidya Balan shared her excitement, 17 years after her memorable role in the 2007 original. Speaking at the film’s trailer launch in Jaipur, she said, “I would possess Bhushan (laughs). Thank you for bringing it to me. I have come back to the franchise after 17 years, and I am really happy about that. In these 17 years, Bhool Bhulaiyaa earned me a lot of love and here’s hoping that part 3 does the same for the next 17 years.”
She added with a smile, “And like Kartik said that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was shot in Jaipur, part 1 was also entirely shot in Jaipur. So Jaipur and the team share an old connection, and that is why we are doing the trailer launch event here. So, please make sure you reach the cinemas on November 1 to watch the movie, otherwise Manjulika will come to haunt you (laughs).”
The trailer for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was an ideal blend of comedy and horror, with Madhuri Dixit emerging as the surprise element. In a thrilling turn of events, she appears with Vidya Balan, both puzzling Rooh Baba over who the actual Manjulika is. Vidya Balan reprises her legendary role as the vindictive Manjulika from the first instalment of the franchise and she returns with a fury, enraged at being dethroned. Karthik Aryan returns with his role as the ghostbuster Rooh Baba, whose hilarious antics and confident claims to be able to see spirits add to the frenzy. Triptii Dimri is seen as Rooh Baba’s love interest in this one.
Other than Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Manish Wadhwa and Ashwini Kalsekar. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will clash with Singham Again this Diwali with both being two of the most anticipated films of the year.
