Anand Mahindra is known for his witty and entertaining tweets.

Industrialist Anand Mahindra is known for his witty, insightful and entertaining tweets. Mr Mahindra is very active on social media and his posts often become a topic of discussion on the internet.

A recent post she shared on Twitter is also gaining traction, which featured a wall mural depicting actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. But the post is not about Mr Schwarzenegger’s illustrious career, it gives an Indian twist to his surname.

Industrialists also joined in the fun, saying that he too could have called the famous bodybuilder “Arnold Subhashnagar” as seen in the graffiti.

“It’s the ‘Great Indian Funnel’. We embrace everything and everyone and give them an Indian avatar! we embrace the whole world (And I wonder why I tried so hard to pronounce ‘Schwarzenegger’ when I could just call him Mr. Subhashnagar),” Mr Mahindra said in his tweet.

The post has garnered over 10,000 likes and has been retweeted over 700 times.

Many users praised the artist for the picture, but others had some fun.

One user wrote, ‘For us in Bangalore, he is Arnold Shivajinagar, while another said, ‘This is the limit of Indianization. I had read a Marathi story in which James Bond was Indianised as Jaanu Bande.”

“And salute to the artist who painted Arnold in a few strokes of the brush… no need to even write a name there,” read a tweet.

Recently, a time-lapse video of an astronaut Chris Cassidy was shared by the famous industrialist which went viral on social media.

The video shows the astronauts floating in space while orbiting the Earth on the International Space Station (ISS). This was originally posted by Wonder of Science and was quote-tweeted by the industrialist.

“Simply mesmerizing to watch. Literally like an out of this world ballet. I want to start my week by acknowledging that my work is going to be just as important and fascinating – because this astronaut’s work is #MondayMotivation ,” Mr Mahindra said in his Twitter post.
