Andhra Pradesh: TDP leader Anitha says Lokesh’s padyatra is irritating YSRCP leaders

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Politburo member and former MLA V. Anitha has said that TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has undertaken a ‘padayatra’ to highlight the YSR Congress Party government’s failure to fulfill its promises made to the youth. have decided to do. farmers, students and employees during the last three and a half years.

Ms. Anita, while addressing a media conference here on Monday, said that the proposed padayatra is already getting support from various sections. He claimed that ever since the ‘Yuva Galam’ (voice of the youth) program was made public, YSRCP leaders were becoming jittery. He said the party had informed the Director General of Police (DGP) about the program two months back.

He wondered what was the intention of the DGP that he was questioning the names and addresses of those who attended the meeting.

Ms Anita scoffed: “It is easy for us to say who will not attend the meeting as 151 MLAs and YSRCP leaders will not attend.” He alleged that G.O.No. 1 was brought in because the YSR Congress Party government was scared of the growing popularity of the TDP. He also alleged that assets worth ₹ 45,000 crore belonging to Shri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were attached by the Enforcement Directorate. In contrast, not a single paisa belonging to Mr. Lokesh was attached by the ED, he said.

He claimed that former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu goes to Naidu. He said that the present YSR Congress Party government, which has failed to get any industry, is making tall claims of providing jobs to the youth for just Rs 5,000 per month.

In a separate press conference, TDP State General Secretary Mohd. Nazir said that permission had been obtained for the ‘padayatra’ proposed by Mr. Lokesh. He demanded that the police should provide security to the participants of the padyatra being taken out by the opposition parties.

He said that the yatra would start from Kuppam and appealed to the students, youth and general public to participate in large numbers and make it a success. Shri Lokesh will talk to the people and know their problems.
