The Indian Army has awarded the first procurement number to a start-up under the government’s ‘Innovation for Defense Excellence’ (iDEX) project. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had introduced iDEX in 2018 with the aim of promoting innovation in the defense and defense sector and creating a new one to promote technological development. The Defense Ministry informed that the Army has finalized a contract with Hyper Stealth Technologies Pvt Ltd, an operation for procurement of indigenously developed ‘Integrated Mobile Camouflage System’ for Field Forces.
