Set shortly before the events of Zack Snyder army of the dead, army of thieves While lacking the significant Z factor, still goofy and fun. While zombies roar and stampede in Las Vegas—devouring intrepid television journalists along the way, Sebastian Schlench-Wohert (Mathias Schweghofer) is a teller at a bank in Potsdam, Germany.

His only break from his boring life is posting his safe cracking videos on YouTube, with no views until he has another one and a mysterious message. Sebastian is invited to a safe cracking tournament, which he wins and is then recruited by Gwendoline (Nathalie Emmanuel), a handsome jewel thief (they always look good).
Gwendoline offers Sebastian a way out of his dreary life by safely cracking Mount Everest – conquering three vaults created by Hans Wagner (Christian Steyr). The locksmith actually composed the four vaults of his musical namesake of the famous Ring Cycle opera – The Rhinegold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried and the Götterdamerung. The last vault has disappeared from the face of the earth. Given the vaults belonging to billionaire Bailey Tanaka (Hiroyuki Sanada), what are the odds it would be in a certain casino vault in zombie-infested Las Vegas?

Sebastian meets the rest of the crew, including hacker Corinna (Ruby O’Fey), getaway driver Rolf (Goose Khan) and muscular Brad Cage (Stuart Martin). All three safes are in the banks of Paris, Prague and St. Moritz. As always, there is a time limit and the crew has to hit the safes in three days as they are due to be decommissioned. The famous five are stubbornly pursued by an obsessive Interpol agent, Delacroix (Jonathan Cohen).
