Lieutenant Colonel Aditi Mishra, the Core of Engineers, is leading the ten-member team, who are undertaking a nine-day campaign in the Kumaon region. The riders will go through a long -running relationship for the border districts of Pithorgarh, Champawat, Dahat and Dharchula, areas of strategic importance and armed forces.

The army said that the ride would often help to attract attention to these unseen areas and expose their cultural and strategic relevance.
Kumawon Quest has been deployed as a platform for direct public engagement, as much as more than a patient challenge. Stops along the route will include trips to educational institutions, where the team will interact with students and spread awareness about career opportunities in the armed forces, especially through Agneepath Recruitment Scheme.
The campaign will further include veterans, Veer Naris (war widow), and families of fallen soldiers. The engagement is to honor the contribution of local communities and to strengthen the ongoing commitment of the army for experienced welfare and remembrance, according to army officials.
Known for its strong military traditions, the Kumaon region contributes to a significant number of recruitment in the armed forces. The objective of the ride is to celebrate that heritage by helping to integrate remote villages more closely with the initiative of national development.
Motorcycle rallies have been a long tradition in the army, which has organized motorcycle rallies led by several women to mark major opportunities and enhance civil-monetary relations. In 2023, a 25-member all-female ride was started for Kargil War Memorial from Delhi. In 2024, another campaign was flagged off from Leh in 2024 under the Nari Sasakshikaran initiatives associated with Kargil Vijay Day.
Similarly, the 2023 Desert Corps Campaign of the Army followed this model of engagement through dynamics, marking the Indo -Pakistan War of 1971. A similar outreach initiative has been taken by other armed services. In 2024, the Indian Navy organized a 2,500 km motorcycle campaign in the Northeast to promote the Navy career and join the border areas.
