Artivatic, an insurance tech firm, recently launched an integrated AI- and analytics-based health claim automation platform called Alfred.
The company claims that it provides end-to-end self-operating access to health financing and claims pay-out process by leveraging analytics. The company believes that the platform was designed with a view to reduce the burden on the insurance industry functionaries and health insurance buyers.
According to the press release, the COVID-19 pandemic and its overall impacts have ensured that we will never again underestimate the need for health insurance coverage. It is eventually considered a basic necessity, whereas earlier it was thought to be only a type of financial cover. However, the main concern in health insurance is how to process claims in a seamless, seamless and digital manner. Therefore, in 2019, out of USD 91 billion, over USD 61 billion was spent as out-of-pocket expenditure, the note said.
The firm aims to build an automated platform that takes care of the entire gamut of claims payment pipeline – from claim filing to final settlement tracking using AI, ML and learning.
