Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal will be on a two-day visit to Goa. This is the fourth visit to the state before the elections.
According to sources, Kejriwal will reach Goa on his two-day tour at around 2 pm on Sunday. “Today around 4 pm, Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the members of the Gomantak Bhandari community at their headquarters,” he said.
He said that during this visit, Kejriwal can get Goa Mining People’s Front convenor Puti Gaonkar inducted into the AAP.
On Friday, Gaonkar announced that he would contest the upcoming elections in the state on an AAP ticket from the Sanquelim assembly constituency held by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
During the last three visits, Kejriwal announced government-sponsored pilgrimage schemes, free 24/7 electricity and job guarantees. AAP is growing aggressively in the state.
