Merchant has claimed that despite the recovery of only six grams of charas from him, the NCB remand application against him and Aryan Khan mentions the seizure of a large quantity of drugs in the case.
He has also claimed that NCB’s allegation that he intended to board the ship was completely false as he did not have an entry ticket to the ship.
The first three to be arrested, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun, were first detained by the NCB after a drug bust and then produced in a Mumbai court on Sunday. During the hearing, the court considered his bail request but eventually, his custody was extended till Thursday as requested by the NCB and his counsel. The three youths have been charged under section 8(c) along with sections 20B, 27, 28, 29 and 35 under the NDPS Act.
At the same time, another arrest has been made in this case. NCB officials found the man in possession of hydroponic weed and this new accused will be produced in the court today.
