“Sorry, I can’t comment. I am not in NCB, talk to NCB officials,” Wankhede told India Today

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was acquitted by the NCB on Friday in a 6,000-page chargesheet in the drugs-on-cruise case. Aryan Khan was among 23 people arrested by the anti-drug agency after a raid on the Cordelia cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai in October last year.

Notably, NCB regional director Samir Wankhede had led the raid and arrested Aryan Khan.

After several court hearings, a lot of drama and 26 days of long custody, the Bombay High Court granted Aryan Khan bail on 28 October. He was finally released from jail on 30 October.

The twists in the case came thick and sharp. The matter was transferred from Mumbai zone to the central team of NCB amid allegations of corruption against Sameer Wankhede. Wankhede removed from the case And vigilance inquiry has been started against him.
