At 37% discount from highest, this stock sets record date for 100% dividend

In the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, Indo National Limited is a small-cap company with a market cap of Rs. 256.24 crores. The company manufactures Nippo Battery which today has a well-known presence in India. Existing shareholders and potential investors should be informed that the firm has set the record date for the purpose of paying 100% dividend as September 20, 2022.

In May, the company said in a regulatory filing that “a dividend of Rs 5 (100%) per share was recommended by the board for the financial year ended March 31, 2022.”

Last month, the company informed the stock exchanges that “the 49th Annual General Meeting of the Company is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 27 September 2022 through video conferencing (“VC”) / other audio visual medium (“OVAM”) and register The Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed for the purpose of payment of dividend and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company from Wednesday 21st September 2022 to Tuesday 27th September 2022 (both days inclusive) 27th September 2022. The Companies Act, 2013 and ther In order to record the right of shareholders to cast their vote electronically at the 49th Annual General Meeting through electronic means under the rules framed therein, the Company has fixed Tuesday 20 September 2022 as the cut-off date. SEBI ( LODR) Regulations 2015. Consequently the same cut-off date of 20 September 2022 will entitle the shareholders who do not cast their vote electronically, to cast their vote at the 49th Annual General Meeting of the Company on 27 September 2022. The e-voting period will start on Saturday 24th September 2022 at 9 am. and will end on Monday 26 September 2022 at 5.00 PM.

Shares of Indo National Limited closed on NSE on Friday 341.50 each, down 3.16% from previous close 352.65. In the last 1 year, the stock has fallen 33.55% and on YTD basis, the stock has fallen 32.07% so far in 2022. On NSE, the stock had touched a 52-week high. 550.00 (14-Oct-2021) and 52-week low 288.15 (21-Jun-2022), indicating that the stock is trading up 37.90% from the high and up 18.51% from the low at the current price point.
