Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that patients will get treatment with latest machines
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and BJP National President JP Nadda inaugurated the newly constructed Atal Cancer Care Center at Ambala Cantonment on Monday.
Shri Lal said that about 28,000 cancer patients visit Haryana every year and with the opening of this center, patients will get treatment with latest machines. This will help in getting accessible, affordable and comprehensive treatment not only from Haryana but also from neighboring states like Punjab, Himachal and Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister announced that people suffering from Stage III and IV cancer, Thalassemia and Haemophilia would be given monthly pension. He said that the government is already giving pension to AIDS patients.
Dedicated steps are being taken by the government in the field of health. “The recruitment of specialized doctors is being ensured along with strengthening the health infrastructure. Apart from this, the government has also set a target to open one medical college in every district by 2025.
He said that the government has increased MBBS seats and in future also these seats will be increased to meet the shortage of doctors.
Shri Nadda said that the state government has curbed corruption with the help of IT reforms and the state has become an example for others in taking digital initiatives.
