Avoid Mysore Road for Few Days, Says Police Mysuru News – Times of India

Bengaluru: First day of Phase II Congress’s Mekedatu Padyatra led to minor traffic jam Feather Mysore Road Stretch between Ramnagar and Bidadi on Sunday.
Police have requested commuters to use alternate routes to reach Bengaluru till the padyatra reaches the city. “Vehicles headed towards Mysore were not a problem for users. The padayatra was on the Bengaluru side lane and hence, vehicles going to Bengaluru are not allowed. We had created awareness on how to avoid it. Mysore Road to reach Bengaluru, but some people ignored our instruction and got stuck in traffic,” said a police officer from Ramanagara.
The padyatra may end on Tuesday. Alternative routes that can be taken are: Mysore-Bannur-Kirugavalu-Malavalli-Halaguru-Sathanuru-Kanakpura-Harohalli-Kaggalipura- Banashankari-Sarkki; and Mysore-Srirangapatna-Pandavapura-Nagamangala-Belur Cross-Kunigal-Nelamangala-Bangalore.
