Ayushmann Khurrana celebrates two years of ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ with a special post
As Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ completed two years of release on Monday, the actor shared a heartwarming poem and message on the subject of same-sex love and gender inclusivity on social media. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor wrote, “I have always considered myself only a medium or medium to tell stories that will impact positive social change. I was thrilled that the audience took on the strong message about gender inclusion Responded that #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan (SMZS) delivered making it a unique success story.”
He further talked about the importance of gender inclusion in mainstream cinema. “On the second anniversary of the film, I want to highlight again that ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ what is most important right now is the representation of the community in mainstream cinema,” he added.
Ayushmann also praised the recent starrer ‘Badhaai Do’ Raj Kumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. He wrote, “I think films like Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and Ab Badhaai Do have created awareness among our countrymen. I believe we are moving in the right direction. Helmed by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the romantic comedy flick also starred Jitendra Kumar in a pivotal role.
