A closed mine of Bharat Coking Coal Limited collapsed in Kulti area of Asansol, West Bengal. The police gave this information on Sunday.
According to the police, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
Soon after the mine hit, a police team reached the spot and started investigation. He also visited nearby places to ascertain the damage.
However, no damage was done.

talking to ANIDCP Abhishek Modi said, “We received information about an explosion in a closed mine of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) at Damgoria Colliery in Kulti area of Asansol. No operation is being carried out in the mine. A police team reached.” To assess the spot if there is any damage to the surrounding village. We are investigating with BCCL officials and CISF. There is no information about any casualties so far. We are also checking in the surrounding villages. There is no report of any damage there either.
