Ben StokesThe England captain and all-rounder became the first Test cricketer to hit a century of sixes and also take 100 wickets. Stokes, who has been impressed with his performances throughout his career, achieved the feat during the third and final Test against England at Headingley in Leeds. In the first innings, Stokes played a short innings of 18 runs in 13 balls with the help of two fours and a six. The six helped him reach a century of sixes in the longest format of the game. Stokes has already taken 177 wickets in 81 Tests at an average of 32.67 and an economy rate of 3.29.
Currently, New Zealand scored 168/5 at stumps on the third day against England in the second innings of the third and final Test at Headingley, Leeds. Tom Latham (78) looked promising for a moment with skipper Kane Williamson (48) but was dismissed from England’s bowling later in the day. Late wickets in England’s bowling attack have put them in a position where they can count themselves as favourites.
With only two days left, New Zealand really need a persuasive innings from one of the batsmen in the middle at the moment.
Earlier, when England were 55/6 in their first innings, Bairstow and Wagner were in control. Bairstow continued his good run from the second Test, scoring his tenth Test century in such dire circumstances. He also completed his 5,000 Test runs. Overton also made an impressive performance with the bat in his debut out, scoring a half-century, helping England to end their second day in a better position, although the Kiwis were still behind the team in the match. England finished on 264/6 at the end of the second day.

Earlier, the Kiwis were bundled out for 329 runs, with Mitchell (109) and Blundell (55) playing top-notch innings that helped the Kiwis reach such a solid score. Jack Leach was the star for England with the ball, taking 5/100 with his spin bowling. Stuart Broad also took 3/62.
