We have often seen people raising their grievances (on various issues) on social media. We have found that many such problems are being solved seamlessly. Recently, we received a complaint on Twitter that caught the attention of many Twitter users. It was performed by Bengali film star Prosenjit Chatterjee, who was affectionately known as Bumba Da. He recently filed a complaint against the service of food delivery app Swiggy on the micro-blogging site. What caught our attention is that he tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the tweet. And Prosenjit Chatterjee further mentioned that he felt it was “necessary” to raise the issue.
The 59-year-old actor began the letter by addressing “Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Respected Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee” and went on to explain the incident. However, he also mentioned that Swiggy returned his money only after complaining.

“However, I want to draw your attention as I think one can face this issue. What if someone depends on food app to deliver food to their guests and their food never arrives? What is someone who relies on these food apps to get dinner for them? Will they go hungry?” “Thus I felt it necessary to talk about it,” read his concern.

Thank god you got your refund. I have faced similar problems many times, especially with Swiggy. Sometimes they even show the food as delivered and do not return the money. A delivery boy even told me that I can use any source but I can’t do anything with it. – Sudipta (@TitoBhaduri1971) November 6, 2021
Shame on those who are making fun of you for tagging CM and PM. I want to say further that this is not a national problem but an international problem. @UN Take care.- Shubham (@subhsays) November 6, 2021
In another tweet, Prosenjit shared an article published in Calcutta Times news in which he clarified his views on tagging the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of West Bengal in his tweet.
He said, “I have mentioned Narendra Modi ji and our CM Mamta Di in my tweet because I want people in the service industry to be more responsible. These days, we all depend on all kinds of apps and I personally use and appreciate them. But those who are serving food or medicines through the app, they should be even more responsible.
