Of Eros, Blossy and Blass
There is nothing supernatural about the process of modifying voter rolls. Electoral Registration Officer (EROS) – Steate government employees are posted in each assembly constituency – booth level officers (BLOS), usually Anganwadi workers and so, to physically verify the existing voters and remove the names of the dead, which have moved away. West Bengal has 80,633 booths, and the roll revision is a continuous process that turns into high gear in November. Update rolls have been published in January.

To grab the headlines, there is nothing full of sound and anger? It is also scary that although duplicate cards were spotted in other states as well, it is only in West Bengal that the ghost voters were converted into political weapons.
Some observers have given him a label of weapons of collective distraction.
The Election Commission cannot take responsibility for Fiysco and all flaws should be plugged. But political parties play a big role in voter list amendment. If, despite their participation, there are ghost voters in the list, then the deer must also stay at their doors.
