Bengaluru:
An 11-year-old boy had been spending two days sleeping next to his dead mother, police said Thursday.
Annamma (44), who was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, died in her sleep at her home in RT Nagar, Bengaluru.
The boy used to go out to play with his friends, have dinner with them and return home.
He told his friends that his mother was not talking for the last two days and was sleeping.
According to the police, friends informed her parents, who went home and found that she was dead.
On receiving the information, the police took possession of the body and the last rites were performed after legal formalities.
