Beware! Fraud can happen in the name of making Ayushman card, keep these three things in mind

New Delhi: If you are applying for Ayushman card, then you have to be very careful in this process, unless yours is stolen. The Central Government has started Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in 2018, under which Ayushman cards were given to the beneficiaries. The health plan provides access to health services to poor families and also provides support for day care procedures, including those with pre-existing diseases. Under Ayushman card, the family gets coverage up to 5 lakhs in private and public hospitals.

However, there have been times when customers got caught in the trap on the pretext of giving Ayushman card. Here are three things you have to be careful with.

Scammers nowadays look for ways to rob innocents. Therefore, in the name of getting Ayushman card made, people can try to rob online or offline. That’s why you should never share sensitive information on your bank account. If you do this, you can become a victim.

Fake Kyc. be careful of

Scammers are also playing the game of fake KYC for Ayushman cards to rob customers. If you get a call, message or any new method to complete KYC, then you should not open the link at any cost.

Do not open unwanted links

Scammers use WhatsApp, email or message to send links to innocents which will mention lucrative offers like opening Ayushman card without any documents. However, you should be careful with these messages.
