BGMI fans in India: The company has a message for you – Times of India

Earlier this week, the Indian government banned the popular game BGMI, which was developed by Crafton. bgmi had gained a lot of popularity since its inception and came after the ban of PUBG, another popular game. In an earlier statement, crafton Said that it would let fans know more “information” on why it was banned. Now, the CEO of Crafton India Sean Hyunil Soho BGMI has posted a message for fans, and here it goes:
“Dear Patron of BGMI,
We are committed to the Indian market and are positive about the opportunities in the country. Feather Crafton, Inc. The security and privacy of our user data is of the utmost importance to use. We have always been and will continue to comply with all laws and regulations in India including data protection laws and regulations.
We thank you for the love and support you have given us in our journey so far and look forward to continuing our cooperation in the future as well. You may have questions about the current situation regarding the country’s favorite sport – BGMI. In line with this, we are working hard to communicate our honesty with the concerned authorities and resolve the issues.
We request you to wait to hear from us. We will keep you informed about further updates. We look forward to strengthening our partnership and collectively promoting the gaming ecosystem in India.”
From the message, it is still not quite clear why exactly the game was banned. The Indian government has still not given any official reason for the ban. However, from the message from the CEO of Crafton, it appears that he is working with the government to lift the ban.
