State-owned engineering and construction firm, BHEL posted a strong bottom line during the quarter ended March 31, 2022 (Q4FY22). The company reported a standalone net profit of 908.87 crore in Q4FY22 as compared to a loss of Rs. 1032.88 crores seen in the same quarter last year.

Standalone revenue from operations was 8,061.68 crore to increase by 12.4% 7,171.01 crore in the corresponding period of last year. The latest revenue has increased by 56.96% as compared to 5,135.90 crore was recorded in the previous quarter.

In the meeting held on Saturday, the Board of Directors of BHEL recommended the final dividend of 0.4 per share (@20%) on the paid-up share capital of the Company for the financial year 2021-22.
BHEL shares closed on Friday at the level of 53.15 up 7.81% on BSE.
