BJP appoints Union Ministers in charge for Assembly polls in U.T.

The BJP leadership on Saturday appointed Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Arjun Ram Meghwal as party’s in-charge for the 2026 Assembly elections in Puducherry.. 

Arun Singh, national general secretary of the party, in a release said while Mr. Mandaviya will be the election in-charge, Mr. Meghwal will function as BJP’s co-in-charge for the forthcoming Assembly polls in the Union Territory. Mr. Singh said the appointment was made by the BJP national president J. P. Nadda, according to the release.
