New Delhi:
Violent scuffles broke out in the municipal corporations between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors. Hours after Doman’s uproar, Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi on Friday accused some BJP members of the murderous attack. During the press conference, he alleged that his colleague Ashu Thakur was also attacked by another BJP member.

Meanwhile, AAP MLA Atishi alleged that Thakur was dragged from the dais by her dupatta and taken to a verification gate of the House. Atishi said, “We will go to the Kamla Market police station and file a case of assault on Mayor Style Oberoi and our other women councillors.”
However, after AAP’s allegations, there has been no response from BJP yet. Shortly before the press conference, the mayor announced the defense of the House and announced that the election of the members of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) would be held on February 27 at 11:00 am.
