The BJP’s National Executive Committee praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s efforts to manage COVID, care for the poor and create jobs.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday that the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the BJP has passed an economic resolution. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of governance, the NEC lauded the Center for making efforts to take care of the poor and create jobs and cited schemes like Agneepath, Gatishakti project in that regard.
NEC also commended Prime Minister Modi for India’s COVID-19 management. “When the state of the world is gloomy, India Take care of yourself Compared to other countries, India vaccinated half of its population against COVID-19 in 1.5 years. It took us 30 years to develop the polio vaccine. We must not forget the legacy we inherited in 2014.
The Union Minister said the move from “policy paralysis” to “double-digit growth” was no small feat. Pradhan said, “Be it aspirational districts, Jan Dhan, Mudra Yojana or even ration to 80 crore people during Covid, PM’s model was exemplary.”
In the last 25 months, Rs 2 lakh was spent on providing ration to the poor. The economic proposal also praised the government for increasing exports and FDI.
“India has been able to establish itself as a strong economic power,” the minister said. He said that in the coming years a lot of employment would be created through various projects taken up by government and private entities.
