BJP sent legal notice to MLAs who joined Trinamool Congress

We will take the matter to its logical conclusion in a democratic manner: Suvendu Adhikari

Days after two party MLAs joined the Trinamool Congress, the BJP leadership in West Bengal on Wednesday said it has issued them a legal notice.

BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari said, “The way we took action against Mukul Roy, approached the speaker and raised the issue of his defection before the High Court, similarly we have served notices to Tanmay Ghosh and Vishwajit Das to clarify our stand. issued.” MLA and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.

Mr Adhikari said that during TMC’s rule since 2011, more than 50 MLAs of opposition parties have crossed the floor.
