The meeting will be presided over by BJP President JP Nadda and state party chiefs and key organizational leaders besides all its national office bearers will attend the meeting.

Sources said on Wednesday that the BJP will hold a meeting of its office bearers in Jaipur on May 20-21 to discuss its strategy for the upcoming elections in the states and to discuss the current political situation. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a session virtually.
BJP president JP Nadda will preside over the meeting, and all its national office bearers besides state party chiefs and key organizational leaders will attend the meeting.
The BJP’s decision to hold the meeting in Congress-ruled Rajasthan assumes political significance as the party has been trying to corner the state government on a range of issues, including the recent incidents of communal violence at several places.
The Congress is also organizing its “Chintan Shivir” in the state next week. Elections will be held in the state in the second half of next year. The state units of the BJP are likely to present a report on their organizational work in the meeting which is also expected to discuss the political situation especially in states like Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka.
While assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat and Himachal later this year, Karnataka assembly elections are due in the first half of next year.
